My name is Chelsea Wood, I am 17 years old-- 18 in April! I am going to the Dominican Republic for 9 months! I live in Michigan, love the Pistons, UofM, Steelers (We won't go into this past season!!), and I love cars.

God broke my heart for the people of the Dominican Republic this past year when I went there for 3 weeks with AIM. Ever since then, I have felt the calling on my heart to go back. So that's what I am doing.

I have a heart for the people, definitly. Not only that but if you saw me at like a VBS service while I was there, I'm often the one sitting with the one little girl that is alone. My heart breaks for the little babies that need love.

I could definitly see myself starting an orphanage. Infact, that's one of my main thoughts for after FYM.
