Today has been a refreshing day. One of those days where nothing went wrong. I could only wish that every day was as nice as this one, but I almost fear this is preparing me for some bad. Either that or its a break from the bad :). Either way, I’m happy.
God has been working in the hearts of the seniors in my small school lately. It’s making me excited. At the end of the year every year the seniors do chapel for the school, and we’ve been working on that. It’s neat to see how God talks to each one of us, and just gives continual confirmation. We are working on “leaving our mark” in the school. For a while I was curious what my mark was to be… but I’m pretty sure God has made it clear. Love.
It’s pretty ironic how God could give ME the idea to leave the mark of love, if you knew the question I have been asking my teachers lately. (I go to a private christian school, fyi!). I have been on a quest for an answer. Before I tell you what the question is, I want you to know, I DO BELIEVE IN LOVE. I just like to know why I believe what I believe. Alright, so I have been asking, and stumping, my teachers on the question… Can you prove love exists and it is not only an illusion we create in our minds? Before I tell you some of the answers I have gotten… I wouldn’t mind knowing your thoughts 🙂
Other than that, I’ve been doing reading in Esther and Proverbs. They both blow my mind. Proverbs 10:12 is my favorite verse, it can send chills up my spine!
If you want to know what I would like prayer for especially this week, it would be to show love to my fellow classmates, and I want to have that “Shine” about me. The Shine that only comes from God’s love. 🙂
