Hay folks! I'm home from vacation, so forgive me for not being up to date on all of this. For the past week I have been in the beautiful Florida enjoying the sun and time off school. :)

I went with my whole senior class, (Yay, 14 of us!! haha, private schooling.) And it was a time we ALL needed. I have returned with a refreshed spirit, and a semi clear mind. God has been giving me the Peace He promised.

It was funny, I looked through some of my stuff in my bible case this week, and I found a prayer I had wrote out at training camp before I left for the DR the first time. The one line that stuck out to me was "God, please open my eyes these couple weeks for my future, and what you have in store..." "... Give me a heart of compassion, and break my heart for the people of this island." It's so amazing how He answered that prayer. About a week later I was in love (With the Dominican Republic, lol) and I knew that I wanted to return to be an FYM. :) It continues to shock me. 9 months. The DR. Me!

This week my prayer is going to be for more Peace, Focus, and I need to show my friends some love. It is amazing to me how much my friends help me when I'm stressed out. It's even more amazing that no matter how good they are, God is 100x's better!! :)
